michelle fragoso

is a grammy nominated recording artist born with an innate talent into a Cuban music dynasty. He is the son of Guillermo Fragoso, the current musical director of the orchestra of the famous cabaret Tropicana in Havana, and the nephew of the singer Algeria Fragoso, a mayor interpreter of Cuban music. He studied guitar and  piano at the Guillermo Tomás Conservatory in Guanabacoa, Cuba, and  completed a masters at the National Art School of Cuba. His band Buya a mix of Jazz,Cuban rhythms and Latin fusion music has featured several artists and composers such as Omar Alfano (Son by Four), Andrés Cabas, Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Luis Enrique. He’s collaborated with producers  Emilio Estefan, Desmond Child, and musicians Arturo Sandoval, and Chucho Valdéz, among many other. He has composed for films and TV like Dirty Dancing 2004, Dos Veces Ana by Sergio Giral and The L Word for Showtime.  Amigo marks his acting debut in an American independent film, also composing and performing the original score.

Graduated from the Higher Institute of Art in Havana City, Cuba. In 1994 he began working as a professional actor in the Cuban theater movement, he has worked in numerous plays, obtaining several awards at international theater and film festivals, he has obtained important characters in TV series and soap operas.

He currently lives in the city of Miami where he works as an actor in Alexis's theater company, playing very successful leading characters, being considered and respected by critics and the public. Amigo marks his first major role in an American independent feature film.

SUSANA PEREZ

is of the greatest Cuban actresses of the last 50 years. Ms. Pérez has worked with great success in theater, radio, television and cinema.  She has been called the “Meryl Streep” of Cuba thanks to her unforgettable leading roles in Cuban cinema and television. Susana began her art studies at the School of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television in 1971. In theater she has worked under the direction of some of the most important international directors, and has starred in more than twenty award winning films. In addition, Susana Pérez is also recognized as one of the most charismatic voices on Spanish radio and has dubbed documentaries, cartoons, and foreign television series. She has also directed several theatrical plays, television shows , and music videos. Since  2008, Pérez has resided in the city of Miami.

vanessa elise

is a multidisciplinary artist that holds a BFA in Theatre from New World School of the Arts. Some previous stage credits include: Miami Motel Stories: Little Havana and MiMo Vivian,The Commissioner, Lipstick, Real Women Have Curves, Elise was honored with a Silver Palm for Outstanding New Talent and a Carbonell nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Wrongful Death… and Clark Gable…She has credits in film and TV which include the award-winning M3.769 and Bridges. Elise is a proud board member of the South Florida Theatre League.

manny zaldivar

Manny Zaldivar is a Cuban-American Actor, Writer, Director, and Filmmaker. He got his B.F.A in performance from FAU and has gone on to train with Robert DaVanzo and James Monarski. His past on-screen work includes "The Sleep", "Planet Dune", and "Breathe The Beat". In 2022, he took the stage in the South Florida world premiere of "Treasure Island" before going on to perform in the Broadway Classic "Guys and Dolls" with MNM theater. You can also hear his voice play multiple characters in Fantawild's animated movie "Realm of Terracotta". After directing the new play "Beyond The Horizon" he is now working closely with the distribution team of the award-winning movie "iMordecai" starring Judd Hirsch and Sean Astin.

    Jorge Alvarez is an actor, and filmmaker, born in Cuba, graduated from the Superior Institute of Arts, (ISA), with a degree in performing arts.  His acting career began with a leading role in the hit Cuban film Una Novia para David.   He has stared in more than thirty theatrical plays and more that ten feature films and three television series In Cuba, Spain, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colmbia and the United States.  He is a founding member of the Miami theater group “El Ingenio Teatro”. He curently resides in Miami Florida.

Film credits include playing opposite Matt Dillon in Sunlight Jr. and John Leguizamo in Empire.
